Ironclaw shook himself free from the fox's grip as it reared around a grabbed him in its strong jaws. He felt blood soaking the glossy fur on his shoulders and forelegs. He luanched himself at the fox and sent it sprawling into the bleek brush. It recovered quicker than the sturdy warrior thought and the dog-like creature kicked out at Ironclaw from its position on its side. Ironclaw felt his legs buckle and his fur rustled by a breeze. He hit the ground with a hard thump and cried out in pain as he felt his left foreleg crumple beneath his hefty body.

Silentstars ears flicking back, hearing his warrior hit the ground. He let out a loud snarl through the foxes fur, biting down even harder until he tasted blood. The fox yelped and started to run. Silentstar released his grip and jumped off, watching as the fox retreated into the brush, towards Hillclan. He limped heavily to Ironclaw, wincing at the pain. he bent over his Warrior and frowned, "Ironclaw? How bad are you hurt?"

Ironclaw stood up but kept his injured leg off the ground. It was slightly misplacen, "I don't know, but it hurts like crazy!"

Silentstar frowned, "Head back to camp and rest. I must go make sure that fox is off of our territory. We may not have a medicine cat but hopefully something can be done about it"

Ironclaw nodded and hobbled back into the rushes, looking over his shoulder at Silentstar before shaking his head and vanishing back into the grass and limping into camp.

Silentstar followed the scent to the Hillclan border before turning around and heading back to camp, dizzy as he was still bleeding. He limped tiredly into camp and looked around for Ironclaw, wanting to make sure the tom was still alive.

Ironclaw lifted his head up from his perch on a rock above the stream just inside the camp. Blood trickled from wounds on his leg and shoulder, but his misplacen foreleg wasn't bleeding. He got up and gingerly placed his leg down, quickly jerking it back up in pain and surprise.

Silentstar saw him and walked over, frowning deeply, "Ironclaw, you need cobwebs. You're bleeding badly." His ears flattened to his skull at the site of his leg, "And your leg.." He shook his head and growled, kicking at the dirt, "I-I don't know what to do for that! I can get cobwebs for your wounds but your leg..I just...dont know.."

Ironclaw softened his voice, "Silentstar..." he soothed, "calm down. Just go get the cobwebs and we'll figure this out. My blood is more important than my leg."
He gave Silentstar his icy blue glare, but with a certain kindness. He just wanted to show his leader he was strong but that task was getting more difficult without a proper medicine cat...

Silentstars eyes wavered momentarily before returning to their previous strenght, "Okay. Just see if you can get into the den. Its raining pretty hard, You getting sick is the last thing we need." He turned and bounded out of the camp, returning a little bit later with the cobwebs. He hurried to Ironclaw and carefully pawed the cobwebs into place, his ears flat as he concentrated, "Starclan..We need help.."

Ironclaw roused from his position in the warriors' den, and watched Silentstar pray to StarClan.
He blinked slowly, as if he saw something. The starry image before him was clear and he could see Silentstar's brown and white pelt through the StarClan cat's body. The spirit whispered something to fainted to hear and soon, when Ironclaw blinked again, this time in disbelief, he was gone and he was staring once again at Silentstar's back.

Silentstar sighed and turned around, blinking at the look on Ironclaws face, 'Ironclaw, did you see something? Are you alright?"

Ironclaw snapped back into reality, mind searching for a good response, "No... I'm fine..."
He let it drift off, it probabally was nothing anyway. The darned StarClan would've told me what he said if it was important!

Silentstar sat down, heaving out a sigh, looking beaten and tired, blood still clotted in his fur, "We have to do something about your leg.."

"We could get a medicine cat from another Clan for help," Ironclalw suggested.
