Leafstar's eyes glowed as she was ready to make these kits the first three apprentices of Ivyclan. Starclan thank you! she silently prayed. She walked up to the three and looked down on them
"From this day forward, until they have earned their warrior names, these apprentices will be called Rainpaw, Tigerpaw and Quickpaw." her voice rang throughout the clan as she said the powerful words. Then she turned to Skyclaw her eyes glowing."Skyclaw it is time for you to be one to train Quickpaw. Your knowledge and wits are a perfect match to teach this loyal cat .May you pass down all you know to this your apprentice" she bowed her head then turned to look at Sunhawk "Sunhawk it is time for you to be one to train Rainpaw. Your strength and spirit are perfect to use to help this wonderful individual grow. May you pass down all you know to this your apprentice" she bowed to Sunhawk then finally turned over to Jetclaw "Jetclaw it is time for you to be one to train Tigerpaw. Your determination and loyalty shall help create a strong warrior from this cat. May you pass down all you know to this your apprentice" she finally bowed and went back up on the ledge. "Let us congratulate our new apprentices for they are now set on the path to become a warrior of Ivyclan!" and with that she yowled as loud as she could being proud of not only herself, but her clan.

"Tigerpaw! Quickpaw! Rainpaw!" Serpentwings called out in pride of the new apprentices. "Make us proud!" She shouted.

Rainpaw touched noses with Sunhawk gingerly, "I'll teach you the best skills in a warrior," Sunhawk promised giving Rainpaw and gentle lick on the forehead. Quickpaw shot up towards Skyclaw, "So what are we doing first. I want to go hunting and chase off some intruders! I wanna go see all the territory!"
Tigerpaw egarly made his way to Jetclaw and touched noses with his new mentor, "I'll do my best, Jetclaw!"
"So will I, Tigerpaw. You'll be the most loyal and brave warrior in IvyClan."

Leafstar purred happily to see how happy the clan was. Starclan thank you for putting me in the lead of this wonderous clan. i will not disappoint you for this. "Congratulations you three" she said as she jumped down from the ledge. "I know that you three will be great warriors for this clan" she bowed slightly and smiled at them

Serpentwings padded into her den, sorting out the herbs and picking out all of the dead leaves. She grumbled, "if I had an apprentice, I wouldn't be going out every day because we're short on something." She muttered 'fox-dung' before getting up to leave her den to go and collect some fresh herbs. She padded up to Leafstar, "Leafstar, I'm going out to get some herbs that I need, and I think I need two more jaws to help out."

Leafstar tilted her head a little "Serpent are you ok? The heat getting to ya again?" she chuckled a little then nodded "Sure thing! How about the new apprentices help out hmm?" she gestured to the newly apprenticed kits towards Serpentwings

Quickpaw's jaw hung open in disbelief, "We have to go gather herbs, ugh! We're warrior apprentices not medicine cats!"
Rainpaw shoved her brother hard and whispered, "Shut your mouth, Quickpaw!"
"Sure, Serpentwings," Tigerpaw replied, "We'd get to more of the territory and learn a little about some herbs and what they look like."

Serpentwings snorted at Quickpaw. "Alright then. I'll just take Tigerpaw and Rainpaw, and leave you Quickpaw to take out all of the old nests and go to replace them with new. Alone." She joked, giving him a hard stare. "Let's go then" she chuckled at her leader before leaving, then stopping at the mouth of the camp. "Besides, if I get attacked, do you want me to die so the blame will fall on your shoulders for my death when you three didn't protect me?"

Leafstar chuckled at the four cats before her. She thought back to when she was just a little crazy kit their age just being apprenticed. Then her stare got hard "You guys be safe and careful now, keep a lookout for anything suspicious

Rainpaw jogged eagarly beside the medicine cat and purred, Tigerpaw right behind her. Quickpaw snorted with irritation at Serpentwings' crude joke.

Leafstar watched as the cats left the camp, hoping for their safe return. She walked up behind Quickpaw and chuckled "It is ok Quickpaw she ment no harm in the joke of hers, you know how she gets" she purred placing her tail on him

Quickpaw's fierce gaze met his leader, "Yeah, right..." he raced off to his siblings and Serpentwings before Leafstar could respond.

Leafstar sighed "Starclan help him as well as us all" She jumped up onto the ledge and sat, watching the sky as clouds floating by.

Serpentwings sighed, she would whack Quickpaw on the head if he got on her nerves. "Now then, all I need is some Ash, Borage, Chervil, Burdock, and Daisy Leaves. I seem to be running low on Horse Tail, too, but I can get that later. Unless one of you annoys me, and you'll be forced to carry two herbs."

Quickpaw caught up to Serpentwings and his siblings as she was telling them which herbs to find. Rainpaw scuttled around like a frisky mouse for Borage and Chervil. Tigerpaw had vouluntered to look for Burdock and Ash. Quickpaw sent off to look for Daisy. Rainpaw watched as Quickpaw tracked off and sniffed along the ground.
