It was a cloudy drizzly morning as Leafstar woke up stretching as big as she could. With a meow of content, she trots out of her den and scans the camp. All was quiet and still as Leaf sniffed in the fresh morning air. "Ahhhh such a good morning today :3" she said smiling "I just wanna stretch out in the sun and warm myself...but..there..is no sun so i guess a walk around should be good enough x.x"Leafstar walks to the entrance of the camp but stops, pirking her ears as she heard a strange noise behind her.

Rowansong let out a yawn and got up from her nest, her kits fast asleep. She poked her head out of her den and stretched, "Good morning, Leafstar," she meows.
Walking up to touch noses with the leader.

Leafstar turns around quickly to see Rowansong and smiles purring. She touches noses with Rowan and sits curling her tail around her. "Ah Rowan it was just you ^.^ gosh for a second i thought you were some odd creature about to pounce me!" Leafstar exclaimed pouncing in the air. She calms down and looks over past Rowan to see the kits sleeping. "Man those guys will be a great addition to this wonderful clan" she purrs contently

Rowansong lets loose a grin that spreads over her whole face, "Why thank you Leafstar!" she looks back to her three kits, "They're nearly four moons old, not much longer until they're apprentices."

Leafstar was shocked and surprised on how close it was for the kits to become apprentices. "Gosh already!? Time flys by so fast within these trees! " she said. Leaf had a worried look on her face for she knew the clan didnt have enough warriors just yet to train these apprentices "Just gotta hope and pray to Starclan they bring us great warriors to train them" Leaf said looking towards the sky with hope sparkling in her eyes

Rowansong nodded solemnly and nudged Leafstar, "By the time their apprentices it will be nearly green-leaf," she added with a bit of laughter, "Quickkit thinks he's leader of the Clan already, that little rascal'll learn his place once he's apprenticed."

Leafstar laughed a mrrow of laughter and looked towards the little kit. "He does have spunk i tell ya that" she said smiling "He will make a fine warrior for Ivyclan" And what she said was true. Leafstar lays down stretched out on her back and purrs like a little kitten. "Such a peaceful time for the forest"

The thorn barrier rustled and Rowansong's head perked up, "Oh, Leafstar! The hunting party's back and I smell mouse!"
She came forward to touch noses with the two young warriors, "Great catch, Sunhawk! You too Jetclaw."
The small gold and tan she-cat's eyes glittered and her pelt shone like the sun in the bright new-leaf sunshine. She nodded her thanks due to her mouthful of prey. She followed Jetclaw to the fresh-kill pile and dropped her finch, mouse, and vole onto the top of the growing pile alongside Jetclaw's three mice.
Rowansong heard a stiffled yawn from the nursery as Quickkit burst out and tasted the air, "Mouse!" he squeaked, racing towards the pile and yanking the largest one of the pile.
"Get some for us too," Rowansong heard Rainkit mew from inside.

Leafstar sat up licking down the fur that stuck up and ran over to great the two warriors "Prey must be running well for Ivyclan " she purred " Great job Sunhawk and Jetclaw" Leaf bowed her head once then laughed when she saw Quickkit zoom over to the freshkill pile in an instant "Ahhh a fast warrior indeed you shall be little kit " she said blocking the way on purpose

Quickkit craned his neck to look at Leafstar, "And why can't I have my mouse?" he bared his teeth like a vicous warrior as he dropped his prey but his small fangs and still fluffy fur made him look like a harmless baby fox, "I don't need a warrior to fetch it for me!"
Rowansong chuckled behind Leafstar.

Leafstar chuckled at the kits spunk and just put her paw on his head. Her paw was almost 2xs the size of his head but she was gentle about it. "Young kit you have the attitude of a warrior already i can see that in your eyes" Leaf said with her eyes having a tiny sparkle. "For being such a spunky kit i want you to promise me something ok?" She said smiling

((btw im drawing this scene  ))Leafstar smiled saying "Since your such the brave kit and you have determination in your eyes..I want you to protect your sibilings from any danger. Do you think a brave kit like you can stand up to that? " She knew the kit was excited to be a warrior for she was the same way when she was a kit herself. "A big warrior would be honored to have such a promise to keep" she purred

Quickkit expression turned dead serious and he nodded stiffly, "I promise, Leafstar," he stood up and grabbed his mice as his siblings yowled for him from the nursery.
Rowansong lifted her head and smiled, "He's spunky, but he's got great potential."

Leafstar nodded "He sure does. The future for him seems bright and full of strength" she said gazing towards the sky "But to know whos worthy of training him is what i must consider" she said looking towards Rowansong. "You are lucky to have such fantastic kits"
