just some thoughts I had for the site while I was doing some homework, should we have a starclan rp as well?
I mean, I know there wouldn't really be much of a need for it right now seing how the site is new and all, but eventually cats will die and will be able to rp in starclan right?
plus, I was thinking I should make Hallowspirit (the former medicine cat of stormclan) a starclan cat to visit Gingerfrost's dreams sometimes, and I wasn't sure if I needed some sort of registration for him.
also (I did notice the new threads for the gathering) where is the moonpool/moonstone? I didn't notice one on the map, but you said it was somewhere near by streamclan's territory but should there be a thread for it?
and lastly, what exactly is the plot for the site so far? I dont want spoilers or anything, but the title 'the storm is coming... are you ready to fight?" has me wondering what you might have in mind, plus if someone has some sort of Idea for a plot where should they post it to get some input or asking if they could put the plot idea into the main plot or make a sub plot or something like that..
sorry if i'm rambling, its late. I'm tired, I just finished writing and correcting a 10 page reasearch paper and answering 30 questions from a 600 some odd page book.

yes I was thinking about making a StarClan and Dark Forest RP.^^
And the issues with where the Gatherings and the Moonshard are on the map will be sorted out, I'll just expand the map and put them on there, then repost the thread with the map on it^^
The plot for the site is(in short words) that I was hoping for there to be some sort of like agent cats from the Dark Forest(one in each Clan) that were trying to take over the Clans in the name of the Dark Forest.
But that's not the official plot.

maybe we should make a thread for plot suggestions, getting ideas from the rpers and mixing them together usually makes for a pretty epic idea, of course you'd have the final word since it is your site to begin with.
also, I think we should try to keep the clan rp clean and have there only be one thread in each clan that many people can post in, (unless there needs to be some sort of secret meating in the leaders' den or something.) that way its easier to keep track of what happened when if all the posts are in one place right after eachother instead of making new threads every time you need to change the subject.
plus, I think it would be a good idea to have a chart somewhere that keeps track of what season it is, what moon fase it is, how the prey is running for each clan, and general information people may be looking for.
and lastly, I think you should know that since we are open to make any cats we like, kits apprentices warriors etc. you should have some sort of plan for when a person makes an apprentice without a mentor listed, you should go to the clan listings page (as the admin) and pick a random warrior who has no apprentice to be the mentor for the new cat.
p.s. should we require some sort of post per month status on the leaders/medince cats/deputies of each clan? to keep inactive role players from striving for those spots, I'd hate for someone to suddenly decide they didn't want to play and just leave say, hillclan in destress becaues their medicne cat went M.I.A.

I think we should just the plot unfold by itself^^ giving the RPers freedom to create whatever kind of plot they want without having to discuss what we're all going to do. I think the fun of RPing is to make up the plot as it goes on.
Yes I will add the rule of one thread per Clan RP board to keep things clean also.
I'll attempt to get a moon phrase chart up, but i have a website link on the Gathering thread on the Ceremony board to a place where you cna check the moon phrases for each month for any year. And for how prey is running I will post on the new fader along with the current weather and temperature. If you watch the news fader all the way through it lists the weather in each territory, the WS cat of the Day, and the WS member of the week. I'll add general Clan information on the news fader as well.
The apprentice issue is very minor and can be fixed easily, unless there are no warriors without apprentices, but hopefully by the time the current kits are apprentices we will have more warriors^^
I will add to the rules that members with a Clan Leader must have at least 30 posts a month, members with deputies 25 posts a month, and members with medicine cats and medicine cat apprentices 20 posts a month. Are those numbers enough do you think?

good idea~ I like that C: just make sure people know not to make TOO much crazy stuff happen, no cats growing wings, no cats with more than one life exept the leader, no cats reborn into new cats unless ok'd by a mod, no cats can have control over elements, that kind of stuff.
I just noticed that actually, it looks rather nice~ but I do think we should have a place where its all listed out just for easy access, you wouldn't want someone to need to know what the weather is like in their clan and have to wait for the fader to go through /everything/ until it finally gets the information they're looking for. (thanks for making me the member of the week! I'm honored <3)

wow, that's kind of a lot of posts per month, I dont even think I could pull that off xDDD sometimes there isn't any need for a leader to post that much, do we really know what firestar does in his den /all the time?/ granet I know you said memebers with these characters, but even still, 30 posts a month is basically one post a day, I wouldn't want to be tied to a rping site like that, its supposed to be fun after all!
I'd say more like at least 8 posts /as the important character/ every month. plus, if you make all the important characters the same amount of requirement, its easier for people to want to be in the important positions. not "oh I want to be the medcine cat because it has less requirement than the other places."

ok, now that you say it 30 posts would be hard for some people... I think between 8 and 10 posts a month would be good since some people don't have time to RP everyday^^ sorry, I just now realize how outragious that number was :0
I'll create a board for that under the General Board, but I like to have that stuff on the fader also^^

ah, I wasn't saying to remove it from the fader, its good where it is we just need an aditional area to keep reccord of the events as well as the fader :3
also, just to clean things up a bit, I think we should move the boarder rps to sub-boards under the general clan rps, since the clan members would be checking those places most often, it would be a bit of a hassle to go back and fourth the way you've placed them currently.

The info is still going to be on the fader, but it will also be available on a board for quick access^^
Maybe but it would be hard to have them as sub-boards because Clans share borders and figuring out which borders to put under which Clan would be difficult. I'll see how it goes where they are and if it needs moved I'll move them to the sub-boards

most of them have duplicates for every clan, like say thunderclan wanted to go talk to shadowclan, the thunderclan cats would go to their thunderclan boarder, make a post, but also make that same post in shadowclan so that they would see it. but only the first one, after that I think since thunderclan is going to shadowclan, the rest of the posts would be in shadowclan's boarder territory.
another site had a thread called '___ clan territories' in every clan section, and it included everything from boarder to training hollow that everyone rped in there, so if a cat wanted to go to that territory, they'd make a post in there saying how their cat crossed the boarder.
the rest of the sites didn't even have territories and everything was in the clan rps section

That seems a bit complicated for the newer RPers.
For us I think if a cat went to the border they'd post it on the border board that is corisponding to the border it is at and then post there. If the cat then goes into another Clan's territory they should post on the Clan they're visiting's RP thread. Does that sound ok?

yeahh~ we should make those like the most important, since they'll probably have a lot to do with the plots and such. I usually make starclan and the dark forest major players in any type of plot thing. after all, they're the ones with unlimited knowlage and epic abilities <3
